Everyone is in lockdown, but Clementina and the man she’s quarantined with don’t stop working. We know little about him: he teaches something, is elusive and coward, and obsessively collects objects that populate his house like an invading army. And what do we know about her? Even less: we barely see her face once and again, a mysterious face that seems strong enough to challenge everything, to face everything, to be able to cope with everything.
Agustín Mendilaharzu (Buenos Aires, 1975) is a playwright and filmmaker. He is a member of El Pampero Cine and photographed ‘The Flower’ (2018), ‘Ostende’ (2011), ‘The Gold Bug’ (2014) and ‘Historias extraordinarias’ (2008), which he also co-stars in. Agustín Mendilaharzu (Buenos Aires, 1975) is a playwright and filmmaker. In 2021, together with Mariano Llinás and Pablo Dacal, he made the documentary ‘Corsini interpreta a Blomberg y Maciel’, the winner of the Second Prize at the Time of History section of the 66th Valladolid Film Festival. Constanza Feldman (Tandil, 1986) is a dancer, actress and choreographer, and had no prior experience in cinema. Quarantine found them living together and turned them into directors. His film ‘Clementina’ (2022) won the award for Best Feature Film, the Grand Prize and the Audience award at Bafici.
