FC Barcelona, is riding high. This causes Sebastián to become a member of a Barcelona fan club. There he will meet the daughter of his boss, Juliana, who won’t give up until she seduces him. He was born in Organyà (Lérida) in 1940 and died in 2020. First a Political Science student, he then joined Spain’s Official Film School. He was a member of the theatre group named Los Goliardos and worked as a film producer and on television. He was editor-in-chief of the film magazine ‘Fotogramas’ and made his cinematic debut as an assistant director in ‘Antonio y Lola’ (1965), by Manuel Revuelta. A year later he shot his first short films and directed his first feature ‘The Lonely Heart’ (1973), which competed in Valladolid and inaugurated a trilogy that he completed with ‘Spanish Fury’ (1974) and ‘The Andalusian Widow’ ( 1976). His filmography includes other works like ‘Los fieles sirvientes’ (1980), ‘Réquiem por un campesino español’ (1985), ‘Sinatra’ (1988), ‘La duquesa roja’ (1996), ‘A Perfect Couple’ (1998) and ‘El paraíso ya no es lo que era’ (2004). In 1993 he premiered at Seminci ‘Un día volveré’, within the Series of the Year section and in 1999 he received a special tribute by the Peñíscola Film Festival. His latest works were the documentaries ‘Mónica del Raval’ (2009), ‘El día que murió Gracia Imperio’ (2013) and ‘L’últim aviador’ (2019).
