Pedro Barbadillo

Author and producer of documentary films, he has directed full-length films and investigative journalism and current affairs series for European and international television channels and plat- forms. He is director of the Mallorca Film Commis- sion, and member of the board of directors of the Spain Film Commission. The founder of the Xarxa Cinema association and honorary president of CineCiutat in Mallorca, he was the driving force behind the first network of arthouse cinemas in Spain, as well as a member of CICAE, the international federation of independent cinemas. He has been a jury member at several European film festivals, such as Cannes (Quinzaine des Realisa- teurs) and the Berlinale (Focus and Panorama).
