The Society of Audiovisual Media Copyrights (DAMA) continues this year its alliance with SEMINCIi after the good reception of the DAMA Dialogues in the last edition. This initiative proposes a meeting point between authors and the public after the screenings of the different competitive sections. These talks examine subjects such as writing, staging, production and editing of films from different points of view, offering spectators an experience that goes beyond simply watching a film, bringing them closer to a deeper understanding of the process of filmmaking. In this edition, filmmakers such as Javier Rebollo, Marta Nieto, Carlos Marques-Marcet, Mar Coll, Paz Vega, Carolina África, Pablo Gil Rituerto and Kikol Grau, among others, will share their experience in the creative process of their works with Festival spectators in Diálogos DAMA, in an enriching open dialogue between audience and filmmakers. Valladolid will also host, for the first time, DAMA Tuesdays, an activity with a ten-year history that enriches the collaboration between the institution and SEMINCI. On 22 October, in the Auditorium of the Patio Herreriano Museum, the director and co-screenwriter of La mitad de Ana, Marta Nieto, and co-screenwriter Beatriz Herzog, will talk with other professionals and the public about the film, included in the Official Section of the 69th edition of SEMINCI.
