The company Derechos de Autor de Medios Audiovisuales (DAMA) has joined forces with the Valladolid International Film Festival to open a door to Spanish cinema and bring it closer to the spectator.
The DAMA Dialogues become a meeting point for debate and shared reflections between authors and the public, and enhance the outstanding presence of Spanish titles in the competitive sections of the 68th Seminci. The excellent moment that the national cinematographic creation is living is reflected in a series of conversations where different ways of approaching cinema are analyzed from points of view such as writing, the formal aspect or production.
Directors such as Antonio Méndez Esparza, Marta Lallana, Luis E. Parés, Paula Ortiz, Víctor Iriarte, Lois Patiño, Rafa Alberola, María Gisèle Royo, Julia Castro, Colectivo Negu, Laura Ferrés, Carlota Nelson and Isabel Herguera dialogue with representatives of other creative fields, outstanding representatives of literature, music or photography, and with the spectators attending the different screenings of their films.
