She graduated in Literature and Linguistics from the Sorbonne University and in Art History from the Ecole du Louvre. She combined her studies with her work as a journalist and art critic. In 1997 she moved to Lisbon, where she met the filmmaker João César Monteiro, with whom she worked for eight years as assistant director. She was program- ming coordinator of the Malaposta International Documentary Film Encounters, and director and programmer of Doclisboa (2004/07). She was a member of the management team of Apordoc, the Portuguese Documentary Association (2005/07) and of the editorial board of Docs.pt. She has been a jury member and programmer at several inter- national film festivals. She is currently a program- mer at Indielisboa and directs Portugal Film.
