A production and post-production sound technician, Carlos de Hita in a specialist in wildlife sounds: a craft he has honed in some 180 documentary shows including ‘Cantábrico, las montañas del oso pardo’ (2017) or ‘Guadalquivir’ (2014). Additionally he worked as life sound recordist in fiction feature films like ‘ Among Wolves ‘(2010) or ‘14 Kilometers’ (Golden Spike at 52 Seminci). He was the recipient of a BBVA Foundation Award for the Conservation of Biodiversity in 2017 in the category of Dissemination of Knowledge and Awareness in Biodiversity Conservation in Spain, and as well as a Ones Award from the Fundació Ones Mediterrània. In 2006 he was nominated for an Emmy Award in the News & Documentary section at the proposal of National Geographic Explorer.
