She was born in Madrid in 1968. A cultural journalist for the national daily ‘El País’ for more than twenty years, she has worked as a film critic for this newspaper, in addition to being a columnist for magazines ‘Icon’ and ‘S Moda’, and collaborating in La 2 show ‘Historia de nuestro cine’. She has written for ‘El Estado Mental’, ‘Vogue’ and ‘Harper’ s Bazaar ’, and won the Paco Rabal Prize for Journalism for her journalistic feature ‘La revancha de los secundarios’, published in ‘El País Semanal ’.
She is a regular contributor to the Lafuente Archive, whose holdings served to put up three exhibitions on Spain’s underground culture during the 70s which she curated: ‘Vicios modernos. Ceesepe, 1973-1983’ (La Casa Encendida, Madrid), ‘Esto no es Hawaii’ (Palacete del Embarcadero, Santander) and ‘Ouka Leele. Supernova’(PhotoEspaña, Madrid).
She has written two books, the illustrated story ‘La bombilla’ (Demipage) and ‘Entrevistos. Manolo Blahnik ’(RqueR), a long conversation with the famous shoe designer.
