ENRIQUE GABRIEL

Filmmaker and writer born in Buenos Aires (Argentina). He made his feature film debut in 1991 with ‘Krapatchouk’, after which he has written, directed and produced ‘Hitting Bottom’ (1997), ‘Fading Memories’ (1999) and ‘Sighs From the Heart’ (2007). In 2010 he directed the fiction feature film ‘Small Lives’ (which competed in the Official Section of the 55th Valladolid Festival) and, in collaboration with Javier Angulo, the documentary ‘La pérdida’. He has produced the Spanish-Colombian films ‘Sin amparo’, ‘Addictions and Substractions’ and ‘The Stoplight Society’. He currently resides in New York, where he is preparing his next feature, ‘A River to Cross’, and is writing the screenplay for ‘Carlos Q.D.W.’, the first feature film by filmmaker and cartoonist Miguel Rueda.
