Gabe Klinger

Known for his feature films ‘Porto’ (2016) and ‘Double Play: James Benning and Richard Linklater’ (2013), he has received numerous awards, including Best Documentary on Cinema at the Venice Film Festival, Best Director at the Santiago International Film Festival, and Best Screenplay at the International Festival in Mons, Belgium. His short ‘Bergman’s Ghosts’ (2021) was included in the Criterion Collection release of Mia Hansen-Løve’s ‘Bergman Island’ (in which he is a cast member). He produced Carson Lund’s ‘Eephus’ (2024), which premiered at Cannes Quinzaine des Cinéastes and participates this year in the Meeting Point section. Upcoming projects for the director/writer include ‘Dreyana Grooms’, selected for Rotterdam CineMart 2021, and ‘Okonomiyaki’, featured in San Sebastián’s Co-Pro Forum 2023.
