Javier Castán Lanaspa

Professor of Art History, Dean of the University of Valladolid’s Faculty of Arts, director of the Chair of History and Aesthetics of Film at the same universitysince 2011 and elected member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of the Immaculate Conception. He is also director of the UVa’s postgraduate course on Film Studies and coordinator of the ‘Learning to Watch Cinema’ courses, also at UVa.
