Joaquín Vallet Rodrigo

He was born in Valencia in 1978. He is the author of books like ‘Diccionario de películas. El Western’ (2018), ‘Roman Polanski’ (2018), ‘El cine de terror’ (2017), ‘Roger Corman. Poe, monstruos y extraterrestres’ (2016),‘ Terence Fisher’ (2013), ‘Diccionario de películas. El cine de terror’ (2012) and ‘Joseph Losey’ (2010), among others. His work as a critic began in 2003 with a series of film reviews published on the website ‘Miradas de Cine’. He has written for specialized publications like ‘Dirigido por...’, ‘Versión Original’, ‘ScifiWorld’, ‘La Furia Umana’ and ‘Godard!’. Since 1997 he has directed twenty short films involving more than 150 entries in international film festivals. He is the founder of the Curtmetratges K-lidoscopi Festival and currently directs the Ànec de Cullera Film Festival (Valencia).
