He was born in Tordesillas (Valladolid) in 1961. A member of the grassroots confederation Ecologists in Acción since 1985, in 2000 and 2001 he was coordinator of the Platform for a Sustainable River Duero. He has served as a civil servant at Valladolid’s Provincial Council since 1985 as head of Bibliobús (the mobile library scheme) , and has collaborated with print media like ‘Alerta’, ‘El Mundo de Valladolid’ or the magazines ‘Otero’ and ‘La Senda’. As an amateur actor, he has participated in Fran Hervada’s short films ‘El viaje’ (2017) and ‘Quien mata a un ladrón’ (2019), and in ‘Menudo pollo’ (Lucía Lobato, 2019). He has also appeared in stage productions like Molière’s ‘The Bourgeois Gentleman’ directed by Agapito Martínez or Luis Carlos Izquierdo’s production of ‘Clara’.
