Juan Carrascal-Ynigo

A graduate from ECAM with a major in film editing in 2006. That same year he founded the production company Trapper John, with which he made a dozen short films, including ‘Las remesas’ (winner of the Castile and León Short Film section in 2010) and the feature documentary ‘15/03/09 La última ofensiva’, a film that narrates the coming to power of the party that formed the guerrilla during the civil war in El Salvador: the FMLN. He has just co-produced and edited the documentary ‘Magic Martínez. El último galope’ (2023), released on Movistar Plus+. His latest short film, ‘Otro día más’, is a candidate for the 2014 Goya Award for best documentary short. He currently works at Zanskar Producciones as a producer of programmes such as ‘Planeta Calleja’ and ‘Volando voy’ for Cuatro.
