Film director born in 1994 in St. Gallen (Switzerland) and based in Zurich. His work blurs the lines between narrative and documentary, exploring the lives of people striving to find their place and purpose in the world. His short films have been screened at over 100 film festivals worldwide, including Locarno, DokuFest, Palm Springs, and IDFA. They were featured at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and have won many awards, including the main prizes at TIFF, Tampere, and Regard. In 2020, his short documentary ‘All Cats Are Grey in the Dark,’ which competed in the Official Section of Seminci, won the European Film Award. He is currently in production on the feature documentaries ‘Translating Love’ and ‘Sunsets Don’t Matter,’ as well as the short documentary ‘Air Horse One.’
