He has a degree in Chemistry and Biology and a PhD in Ecology from the Autonomous University of Madrid. He has been a member of Ecologistas en Acción since 2001, where he coordinated the Anti- globalisation, Peace and Solidarity area between 2004 and 2008, and was treasurer of the confe- deration from then until 2014. In the meantime, he earned his PhD in Ecology and specialised in facilitating participatory processes and carrying out political advocacy campaigns. As a researcher, he has focused on the relationship between people and nature, with topics like the integration of con- servation and development in Chiapas (Mexico) or the evaluation of the ecosystems of the Doñana marshes. Since 2018 he has been the confederal coordinator of Ecologistas en Acción.
