MARTA MEDINA DEL VALLE

A film critic for El Confidencial since 2016, she has collaborated with media outlets such as El Mundo, ABC and Sofilm, always in the film and arts sections. She studied Film Directing at the Madrid Film and Audiovisual School (ECAM) and her short film ‘Despertar’ (2014) screened at the 59th Valladolid International Film Festival and was selected by a dozen competitive film events around the world. As a screenwriter, her projects were selected for development by copyright management organisation DAMA. Since then, her work has particularly focused on film journalism, screening at festivals like Cannes, San Sebastián, Sitges and Seminci.
