An independent filmmaker and producer, she has a degree in Hispanic Philology with a major in contemporary literature. She holds a Diploma in Advanced Studies from Berlin’s Humboldt University and completed a Master’s degree in Film Directing in New York. On her return to Spain she set up the production company Rinoceronte Films. Her filmography includes nine fiction and non-fiction short films: ‘Flying fish’ (2021), ‘Drifts’ (2020), ‘Selfie’ (2019), ‘In Those Lands’ (2018), ‘Sub Terrae’ (2017), ‘Just Another Day’ (2014), ‘Things in Common’ (2011), ‘Encounter’ (2010) and ‘Anniversary’ (2009), which have been selected in more than 300 national and international festivals. Her first feature film, ‘As Old as the World’ (2012), won the Círculo Precolombino de Oro Award at the 29th Bogotá International Film Festival.
