Néstor López

Film director and producer born in León in 1992. Founder of the production company Filmakers Monkeys. To date, he has produced three feature films and more than 25 shorts premiered at festivals such as Warsaw, St. Louis or Seminci. A Goya-winner for best short documentary for ‘Mamá’ (Pablo de la Chica, 2021), he has two Goya nomi- nations, two Silver Biznagas at the Malaga Festival, a special mention of the jury at Seminci and the Industry Award at San Sebastian, as well as having been shortlisted for the Oscar Awards. He is currently preparing his first feature film with RTVE.
