Born in Valladolid in 1985. He holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the UEMC, specialising in film and television scriptwriting. He is co-founder of the production company Visual Creative, with which he has participated in about twenty short and feature films, many of them screened at major national festivals. As a director, he authored the short movie ‘El cine olvidado’ (2009), the opening film at the Aguilar de Campóo International Short Film Festival, and the feature films ‘¡Folk! Una mirada a la música tradicional’, (2018) Espiello Choven award for Best Documentary at the Sobrarbe International Ethnographic Film Festival, and ‘Comuneros’ (2022). Since 2020 he has been a member of the Spanish Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
