Pere Puigbert

He began his career as a film editor and combines projects as an audiovisual producer with his job as a university lecturer. A large part of his filmography poetically approaches natural landscapes. He made his feature debut with ‘El viento que nos mueve’ (2021), for which he also did the photography, editing and sound. The film was selected for the Guadalajara Festival and won the award for DOC. España’s Best Feature-Length Film at at the 66th Seminci and the Latitud Award at DocsBarcelona. He has also worked on the creation of travelling audiovisual installations for museums, and in 2021 he produced ‘Fluvius’, which delves into the waters of the Fluviá River in northeastern Spain. He is cu- rrently working on his second feature as a director: a film that moves between documentary and fiction.
