PILAR GARCÍA ELEGIDO

Director, producer and screenwriter. She won the Goya Award for Best Documentary short film with ‘Confluencias’ in 1999. Her short films ‘Positivo’ and ‘Windows’ were nominated by the Film Academy respectively in 2000 and 2016. She is currently working on the post-production of ‘Monólogo’. She has directed the Short Film Week of the Community of Madrid for 16 editions and has coordinated international film events such as Madridcine / Argencine or La Ventana del Cine Madrileño, as well as all kinds of professional meetings and training activities around cinema. She was responsible for the film department of the Community of Madrid between 2003 and 2019.
