Pucho

He was born in Madrid in 1979, and since its crea- tion in 1998 he is the vocalist of the music band Ve- tusta Morla. He has worked closely with filmmakers who have directed video clips for the group such as Juan Cavestany, Eugenio Mira, Nacho Vigalondo, Paula Ortiz or Fernando Franco. A graduate in Visual Arts from the Institute of Communication Arts (Tra- cor), his passion for cinema led him to program film retrospectives in his adolescence. He worked as a guide at the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum where he related the works of art in the collection with filmmakers and film movements. He has been a jury member at Filmadrid (2017), Gijón (2019) and San Sebastian (2020), and since 2022 he has been working as a scout for the production and distribu- tion company Elastica Films at the Cannes Festival.
