Rita Dutta

Professor, film critic and editor, she is the editor of the international film journal ‘FilmBuff’ (www.filmbuff.org.in). She has visited many inter- national film festivals worldwide and served as a juror in Cannes, Busan, Kiev, Cairo or Kerala, among others. She has also delivered lectures in Istanbul, Almaty, Poland, East Europe, China, Bra- zil, Germany and Romania. She has contributed in various national and international publications. Her articles have been published in Spain, France and several other European and Indian journals. Recently, she was in the editorial board of a pu- blication named ‘Critics on India Cinema’ which is available online. She is currently editing two books simultaneously on contemporary Indian Cinema and Mrinal Sen.
