Romina Paula

She was born in 1979 in the city of Buenos Aires (Argentina). She is an actress, playwright and director. As an actress, she participated in films like The Student (Santiago Mitre, 2011) and several of Matías Piñeiro’s films. She has written and directed for the stage, and published three novels and a volume of her own plays. In 2019 she premiered Again Once Again, her first film as a writer and director, which won her the Latin Horizon Award at the San Sebastian Festival. In 2020, Unlimited Edition was released, a collaborative film for which she wrote and directed one of her short films. She is currently writing her new feature film, Gente de noche, for which she received the Script and Project Development Scheme from the Hubert Bals Fund for script development.
