Castilla y León New Talent / Premio Open ECAM

The Valladolid International Film Festival, the Madrid Film School (ECAM), the Aguilar Film Festival, and Castile and León’s Film Archive join forces for the second consecutive year to announce the Castile and León New Talent / Open ECAM Award, which aims to promote, back up and develop projects, filmmakers and film companies in the Autonomous Community, through an initiative that will support the production of a short film project. From among all the projects submitted, a maximum of four finalists will be shortlisted, and two representatives will be chosen to attend the Festival, where they will receive individualized training to support the development of both the script and the project. They will also be assisted by an ECAM professional to prepare the pitching of the project, that will be will be presented during the Aguilar Film Festival to a committee that will choose the winner of the Open ECAM Award.
