Aspiring actor Edward undergoes a radical medical procedure to drastically transform his appearance. But his new dream face quickly turns into a nightmare, as he loses out on the role he was born to play and becomes obsessed with reclaiming what was lost.

A graduate of the University of Southern California (USC) film school, he has often been interested in the themes of disability or disfigurement. He made several short films such as ‘Late Spring: Regrets for Our Youth’ (2009) before his 2013 feature debut with ‘Go Down Death’, inspired by the short stories of poet Jonathan Mallory Sinus.After directing Adam Pearson, an actor who suffers from neurofibromatosis, in ‘Chained for Life’ (2018), he worked again with him on ‘A Different Man’ (2024). The film had its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival, where Sebastian Stan won the Silver Bear for Best Actor for his role in the film.
