A journey through the history of Spanish cinema following the life and professional career of Florián Rey, a director who began a prestigious career in silent film and authored great commercial successes during Spain’s Second Republic. His contribution was essential in the creation of the still fledgling Spanish film industry. His was a figure with lights and shadows, since his ideological ties led him to a progressive fall from grace until his retirement in absolute oblivion. In the 21st century, discovering his mastery in the use of narrative rhythm and his refined technique leads us to the recovery of his immense legacy.

In 2013, she presented out of competition the documentary short ‘Por qué escribo’ in Time of History; and a year later ‘Aragón rodado’ in the DOC. España section. In 2015 she took part again in this section with ‘Eduardo Ducay. El cine que siempre estuvo ahí’ and two years later, out of competition, with ‘Maria Moliner. Tendiendo palabras’. In 2018 she premiered ‘Luchar por Europa: la huella de Brandt’, and in 2021 she presented out of competition in DOC. España ‘Elvira de Hidalgo. Donare la Divinità’.
