Actress, screenwriter and director born in 1982 in Murcia, where she studied Drama and Philology. She made her film debut in ‘Summer Rain’ (Antonio Banderas’, 2006) and worked in popular television series before her performance in ‘Mother’ (Rodrigo Sorogoyen, 2019) became a turning point in her career, with accolades like the award for best actress in Venice’s Orizzonti section, her recognition at the Seville Festival or the Forqué Award. Her role in ‘Infamy’, by Lydia Cacho, earned her the 2023 Max Prize ex aequo with Marina Salas, and in 2024 she returned to the stage with ‘Vania x Vania’, by Pablo Remón. She combines projects in Spain, France and Italy. In 2022 she premiered ‘Son’, her debut short film as a director, in the Official Section of Seminci, and with ‘Becoming Ana’ (2024), her first feature, she delves deeper into her exploration of transgender childhood and identity conflicts.
