Vargas, a fifty-four-year-old man, is released from a prison in the province of Corrientes where he hasserved a sentence. All he wants is to get to his daughter, but she lives in a remote place surrounded by water. To get there he will have to travel great distances in a small boat following the rivers that cross the tropical forest.
