Julia de Castro is a multidisciplinary artista born in Ávila. She studied Art History, Acting and Violin at university. After her artistic residency at the Spanish Academy in Rome, she published the book ‘La Retorica delle Puttane’. As a musician, she has released two albums with her project De la Puríssima and a solo album, ‘La historiadora’. As an actress, she has participated in more than fifteen plays and several films. In 2023 she participated in the film ‘Teresa’ by Paula Ortiz, and the series ‘Poquita Fe’. María Gisèle Royo is a director, producer, and editor of documentaries. She gained an MFA in Media Arts Production at CCNY, as a Fulbright grantee. She is an artistic resident at the Spanish Academy in Rome. She directed the documentaries ‘Rediscovering Pape ‘(2009), which won a Student Oscar and a Student Emmy, ‘Education Without Borders’ (2019) and ‘La invisible’ (2021), among others. ‘On the Go’ (2023) had its world premiere at the Locarno Film Festival.
