Signe and Thomas are in an unhealthy, competitive relationship that takes a vicious turn when Thomas suddenly breaks through as a contemporary artist. In response, Signe makes a desperate attempt to regain her status by creating a new persona hell-bent on attracting attention and sympathy.
He was born in Oslo (Norway) in 1985, and grew up in a small suburb outside of the city, where skateboarding and making videos dominated his youth. His debut feature film, ‘DRIB’, premiered at SXSW in 2017. In 2018, his short film, ‘A Place We Call Reality’ received the Norwegian Film Critic Association Award for Best Short of the year. He has helmed films for clients including Sweetgreen, Twizzlers, and Massage Envy. He has worked with agencies such as Droga5, BBH, and Fallon. Kristoffer Borgli’s short film ‘Former Cult Member Hears Music for the First Time’ (2020) was an official selection for Sundance. He is currently living in Pasadena, California, and his feature film ‘Sick of Myself’ was selected for Un Certain Regard in Cannes 2022.
