Born in Lille (France) in 1960. He studied at the Emile Cohl School and published as an illustrator with Grimm Press. For several years he contributed to the success of the Folimage studio in films such as ‘Ma petite planète chérie’ (1995) or ‘Patate et le jardin potager’ (2001). He later authored the ‘Mica’ series (Ricochets Productions) and worked on the feature film ‘Mia et le Migou’ (2008), directed by Jacques-Rémy Girerd, with whom he co-directed ‘Tante Hilda!’ in 2013. In 2014 he directed his first short, ‘Tigers Tied Up in One Rope’ (programmed at Miniminci in the 61 edition of the Valladolid Festival), and in 2016, he directed ‘Midnight’s Garden’, which was nominated for a César award. ‘Sirocco and the Kingdom of Air Streams’ (2023) is his first solo feature film, and won the Audience Award at the Annecy Festival.
