A documentary narrated by Cecilia Roth and with the participation of the survivors of the legendary rock band Tequila: Ariel Rot, Alejo Stivel and Felipe Lipe. It tells the story of a mythical band that provided the soundtrack to the new sense of freedom experienced by Spain’s youth during the political transition. Five young people who suddenly achieved their dream of triumph and were destroyed by fame and success. But their songs have managed to endure in time as indestructible classics.
He was born in Santander in 1968. He is a producer, director and one of the founders of Morena Films. His filmmaking career is focused on the documentary genre. His
directorial debut, ‘Sons of the Clouds’, earned him the Goya for Best Documentary in 2013. Since then he has directed ‘The Propaganda Game’ (2015, also nominated for a Goya), ‘Two Catalonias’ (2018, co-directed with Gerardo Olivares), ‘Ni distintos ni diferentes, Campeones’ (2018), and ‘Sanctuary’ (2019). , starring the Bardem brothers.
