When troubled West Cork teen Kevin Coyle (Ollie West) is involved in a tragic accident, he does something seemingly unforgivable; he keeps it a secret. Kevin must watch in horror as the consequences of his lie unfold before his eyes. Will he be forced to confront the truth as events inevitably escalate out of his control?
Irish screenwriter and director. He studied directing at the National Film and Television School in London, is an award winning writer/director of five short films and is an alumnus of the Berlinale Talent Campus and the ScriptLab at Torino Film Lab. His filmography includes the short films ‘Falling Angels’ (2004), ‘Treeclimber’ (2007), ‘The Elephant and the Seagull’ (2007), ‘Lowland Fell’ (2008) and ‘I Can’t See You Anymore’ (2012). His first produced feature script, ‘Strangerland’ (Kim Farrant, 2015), had it’s world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and stars Nicole Kidman, Joseph Fiennes and Hugo Weaving. ‘The Sparrow’ (2022) is his debut feature as writer/director.
