A Memorial Against Injustice and Barbarism

«This memorial has been built with two objectives. First, to remember the victims of Franco’s repression —to voice , no matter how painful it may be, their agony, the loneliness they experienced when they died, and we need to remember them and stand, in some way, by their side. And secondly, to bear witness to the injustice and cruelty that was unleashed following those events. Indeed, hatred of others for thinking differently, intolerance and idolatries have not disappeared. This is why we need to remember every day that events like these should never happen again».
