A campsite on the outskirts of Madrid is the common home of failed writers, funfair stallholders who are just travelling through, anonymous artists, hairdressers, unemployed workers... It is on this unattractive beach that Bárbara Helguera’s shipwrecked life becomes stranded. She is a famous young designer who is nevertheless crippled with debts and failure.
