Meanwhile, 12-year-old Matho can’t wait to become a man. Desperate for approval from his young father, a series of impulsive decisions turns Matho’s life upside down and he finds himself unequipped to deal with the harsh realities of the adult world.
Riley Keough is best known for her roles in films like ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ (George Miller, 2015), TV series ‘The Girlfriend Experience’ (2016), which garnered her a Golden Globe nomination), ‘American Honey’ (Andrea Arnold, 2016), for which she was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award, ‘Logan Lucky’ (Steven Soderbergh, 2017), and ‘The House That Jack Built’ (Lars von Trier, 2018). Gina Gammell started out producing and directing short-format music videos and commercials. In 2017 she produced her first feature film. In 2018 she founded Felix Culpa with Riley Keough, and in 2022 the two of them co-wrote and co-directed their first feature film, ‘War Pony’, which scooped the Golden Camera at the Cannes Film Festival.
